[b]We've been together
for quite a while,
and still I can't help
but to love your smile.
Your laugh, your kiss,
your love, your hugs.
Baby, when I'm with you,
I feel so snug.
Sometimes, when you hold me close,
I look into your eyes.
Just catching a glimpse of you this way
makes me feel like I'll never die.
I don't care what it takes
for me to be with you.
I'll climb a mountain or run a marathon
just to make it through.
I love you so much,
more than anything.
Sometimes, I hope you love me, too,
and almost just the same.

I'm no poet, but I think the uses of the word "baby" make it slightly corny, as well as the line "I'll climb a mountain or run a marathon".

"Your laugh, your kiss,
your love, your hugs."
I like that line. It flows nicely.
Also:
"We've been together
for quite a while,
and still I can't help
but to love your smile."
The subtitle says this is your ex. We've been together? How about we were together?
Better than I could do!
